Two Midas PRO X consoles working in perfect harmony at Artscape, Cape Town’s premier theatre – together forming a great team. Much like the long-term relationship between Prosound’s Technical Director, Mark Malherbe (right) and Artscape’s HOD of Audio Liam Cookson (left).
One console will be used in the main Theatre, while the other will be deployed in the Opera. Of course both can be used together in tandem when more inputs are required.
The two Midas ProX consoles are an upgrade of the existing Midas PRO9 consoles owned by the theatre. By going the upgrade route, Artscape have massively extended the lifespan of their consoles. The upgrade also represents a massive cost saving over purchasing new consoles, while having all the benefits of a PRO X.
Midas PRO X, Artcape and Prosound – a perfect combination.
