A brand new studio was finished earlier in 2015 for independent South African broadcaster, ETV. Prosound has an ongoing relationship with ETV, continually installing upgrades at their studios in Cape Town and Johannesburg.
The news studio uses the highly intuitive ETC ION lighting console while the studio is kitted out with ETC Source Four LEDs. This LED model is perfect for studio setups as one can change the colour temperature from the console, making the studio’s lighting design match its versatility. So from a serious cool white for a news broadcast, one can switch to a warm white for the shooting of a drama at the touch of a button.
