Prosound’s association with the Fugard Theatre in Cape Town began with Technical Director, Mark Malherbe, doing the sound design for the original production of ‘Playland’ for Athol Fugard which premiered in 1992. The rich history of the theatre building itself, in Cape Town’s District Six, adds to the significance of this performance space named for one of South Africa’s most acclaimed playwrights.
Prosound was proud to host Electro-Voice in the Fugard’s Studio venue on Tuesday evening, which dramatically displayed the power of the EV speaker range ‘The Most Powerful Family in Portable Sound’.
