Prosound has had an excellent relationship with The Playhouse since its inception, were the obvious candidate to design, supply and install sound systems for the upgrade of their sound and communication systems in 2003.
Due to rapid development in software-based paging matrix systems, The Playhouse saw the need to upgrade their existing analogue system suggested a flexible system configured to control run-of-show (ROS), stage manager’s paging, front-of-house (FOH) paging, the evacuation system and their security system.
This seemed to be the perfect opportunity to reconfigure the existing cabling infrastructure: all microphone and loudspeaker patch positions were then expanded and the new network cabling system was added, forming an extensive timeline system that simplifies the setup and configuration of sound systems for future productions.
