The Sun Coast Casino in Durban has undergone a major facelift and Prosound were integral to the improvements.
Tasked with upgrading all areas of the casino by Marius Lourens of CKR Consulting and Ravi Moodley from Edison Power Electrical Contractors, Prosound have supplied and programmed 120 x channels of iLight Adaptive Dimming Technology for the new Salon Prive.
iLight Dimming Systems are manufactured by Eaton.
Prosound Head of Lighting, Ian Blair, confirms that using ILight was an easy decision, as iLight technology has proven itself to be incredibly durable and reliable. He illustrates his point by telling us that iLight dimmers were originally commissioned and installed in Sun Coast Casino by Prosound in 2003, and are all still functioning perfectly, and have been re-deployed as dimmers for new LED fixtures that are part of the upgrade.
Several days during the months of April through to July 2018 we set aside for the programming and scene setting of the existing and new iLight dimming system.
This programming and scene setting was co-ordinated with the opening of the respective areas of the Casino
